By being enchanted by stone carving, I have developed my skills to make the sculptures, i make today. As i keep creating sculpures, i keep developing my skills. This way i hope to be able to make more difficult sculptures then ever before.

When i have an image in mind, I become one with hammer and chisel, to make a three-dimensional sculpture of it, preferably in hard stone. To see it grow from my hands gives me so much pleasure in my work. I'm always looking to challenge myself to create more difficult sculpures.

 

That combined with the fact that it is still appreciated by young and old gives me so much joy en motivation to keep on doing this.
